My take on iPad

Well.. No wonder iPad is a truly amazing device... Its one of the another attractive device in the series ever Apple has delivered.. But personally i feel Apple could have done a lot more ground work on the device side and of-course majorly on the OS front before coming up with early launch... Ui what we have seen now is simply stunning... But thats not all of it..

Affirmative front are a thousand reasons which makes me "Go and Get".. But in my purview seeing other factors cannot be eluded.

At 680 Grams in weight, its not gonna be so easy to wave and work. Look at Kindle or Nook. Its just less than half its weight..

Lack of Camera: Now when Apple agreeing to VOIP based calls over 3g network, it looks dull-witted not to have an inbuilt camera.

No MAC OS X- : It has the iPhone OS 3.2 and not Mac OS X. Though the appstore has more than three hundred thousand apps and still growing... most of these apps are suited for small display screens.. It really does not make much of a sense of a separate app concept for this 9.7" display.. A Mac OS X with the Already existing Widget concepts could have done been garnered better advantages along with the strehgth of already existing Unix apps.. This can easily suffice the facebook app or or twitter apa or for the matter of fact..any apps.. and on top of all this..

No Flash: Because of using a smartphone version of OS, currently iPad doesn't have the Flash enabled. this problem would have never come to picture if at all it was a Mac OS X .Its just not about the Youtube flash.. Almost every websites run the flash programs and not rendering these in a 9.7" sexy display is like committing the biggest sin in terms of user experience.

NO Multi tasking: Cant run simultaneously multiple apps at the same time..(iPhone OS 3.2 can only run native apps in Multitasking way.. Not any apps)

No USB, No HDMI:Which generation are we living in!!! The design may seem just seamless. But, you may find it too seamless when you will figure out the number of adapters you would require with it. iPad has no USB ports reportedly. So, whatever you want to use with it camera, printer or even a USB, you would need an adapter for it.

Screen: Though the video shows how sexy the display is.. But when it comes to power consumption , Apple should not have stopped themselves from switching from the LED to OLED technology.. At-least, the battery life could have been extended by more than 30%. 10 hours seems less.

I understand Apple must have thought more than me for my above statements.. The device was not made such that we suit the device.. its the other way that the device suits our way...
I dnt forsee this to be a kindle/Nook killer and something which was unexpected is this has opened up the gates for the other upcoming Android Tablets to fill the gap.

For Those of you have not not yet seen the ipad Video, You can View here:

Thats it for now...

What is Your "Avatar"

Avatar .. Beautiful words to appreciate the movie would fall short.. Its one of the very good movies i have ever watched.. I still can't compare the 3D effects as good as Polar express.. But yes.. it wasnt intended either for all the scenes.. worth watching .. I wish i could have watched the same in the iMax format .. Inox screens are so small for 3D movies.. Common iMax.. Checkin Bangalore.. The best of the entire movie what i liked is about humanity...Its just within you which knows what it should think.. what it should do.. Just do that and feel better of yourself being human... I started to believe everyone has an avatar.. Its just how you take it forward is all upto you..

The day was good as once again Amalin Akshay and I met .. Had a light munch before the movie and even dinner out.. It was good for one more reason as we met one of our old gold friend Ganesh after a looooong time .. Shared a lot of happenings over the years he had been..had Fun... ..Finally reached home late...as usual...

3G in india

Finally experienced the 3G network in India.... Video calling was pretty good enough.. .Of-course , it was my first time ever i had a video call over the mobile though for me a video conference over the computers is more than 10yrs old...I felt what better one can expect on a video call with a 0.3Mpx camera in the front.. it was nice.. fun..

Its just in the beginning phases of Testing.Hope so it launches sooner on all networks...3G network is definitely lightning fast.. WebPages loads lightening fast when you compare the EDGE network..
All in all.. Its surely a great experience...

Solar Eclipse In Bangalore

Its quite a been a tough week for me.. Unwell.. Committed work.. Feeling better today than how all the last weekend started .. It was the day of Solar eclipse .. The longest in this century.. It was great to watch the Eclipse in the mid afternoon..
It reminded me of the Moon when on it 4th day after the new moon day.. It would have a sharp curve and though very thin, it would be always visible to eyes.. Visible like White Moon with Black background.. It was all the reverse today.. The Moon was visible similar but it was Black and the Sun behind was shading the white color.. It was simply awesome to watch.. Ofcourse.. all these Eclipse Stories happened and made me skip my lunch...

Yesterday was PONGAL and may be it was first time in my life that it wasnt celebrated in my house as ever... first time i realised the importance of SugarCane... Sakkara Pongal...I remember the last time when it was made.. Had...Shared..... Miss my mom a lott... Unfortunately.. It was a dry day...

I really dnt understand one thing in Bangalore,Suddenly it seems everyone's been hitting the theaters where on-line ticketing happens.. Its become pathetic to book the ticket on-line.. I've been trying for Avatar for about a month and still not able to book tickets.. Hope so.. anywayz.. Finally somehow got tickets for "Chance Pe Dance".. Th review on the same would go next right here...
